Rebecca’s journey is familiar to many families.

Nurture My Child is led by founder Rebecca Cole, whose idea for the company was born out of her own personal experience and struggle in finding the right child care for her family:

“When I was pregnant with my daughter, I wished there was someone who could help explain all of the types of child care available and outline a process for finding what was best for my child and my family. The reality is that the search took hours and hours of research, phone calls and site visits to decide on the care option that would work best for my baby and my work schedule.”

“After my son was born, our family’s needs changed again. I found myself with 3 types of care: Montessori school for my daughter, a half-day program for my son and a part-time nanny for the afternoons. It was incredibly frustrating and time-consuming to piece everything together and find a solution that would work.”

Today, Nurture My Child is helping families navigate the confusing and complex world of early child care and education options. Rebecca is a strong believer that no family should settle when it comes to child care. Rebecca and her team believe that the process can be educational, fun and give families’ confidence about the care their child receives.

About Rebecca Cole

Rebecca is a mom-preneur who founded Nurture My Child to help families with their child care search. Rebecca and her husband, Mike, live in Austin and are the parents of two young children who keep them on their toes and bring smiles to their faces every day.

She is a Texas certified trainer in child care and provides educational presentations regularly to parents and teachers at local preschools and child care centers across Texas.  She is an active member of the National Association for the Education of Young Children, The Texas Association for the Education of Young Children, and the Southern Early Childhood Association. 

Rebecca has a masters of science degree in mechanical engineering and over 12 years of corporate experience at a Fortune 500 company, where she managed international projects, evaluated programs and assessed quality. The focus and attention to detail that brought her success in the high-tech industry are now channeled toward finding solutions that work for her clients’ lives.
